Before you meet someone offline Meet in a public place for the first few times. Tell a friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back. Arrange your own transport to and from the meeting. Do not share your home address until you know the person well. If you are unsure, video call the person before meeting. Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave.

Spotting scams Common warning signs: Requests for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or bank transfers — always a scam. Someone who wants to move off the platform to WhatsApp, Telegram, or email immediately. Photos that look too polished or professional (a reverse image search often exposes stolen photos). Stories that change over time, or that pressure you emotionally. A partner who is always "abroad", "on a rig", or otherwise unable to meet in person. Someone who declares strong feelings very quickly. If a member behaves like this, report them and stop replying.

Sharing information safely Keep personal details (home address, workplace, daily routine, financial information, passport / ID) off the platform. Use your username, not your legal name, until you are comfortable. Do not share intimate photographs. Once sent, you cannot control what happens next.

How to report Use the Report button on the profile, photograph, or message. Reports go to our moderation team. For anything urgent, email info@couplinn.com. Reporter identity is kept confidential.

Blocking You can block any member at any time from their profile. Blocking is immediate, ends contact in both directions, and does not require a reason.
